In June 2019 I started to make a point of going outside in the morning.
First thing. As soon as I get up and as early in the day as possible.
Why?
To get a dose of early morning sun (which has important benefits). And to ground on the real earth.
Morning sun + grounding.
Since I began this habit I have experienced quite noticeable improvements.
In my sleep, energy levels and ability to focus.
And when winter arrived that year I continued this habit. Even in cold, cold weather. Even when it snowed.
You might have seen videos of people submerging themselves in bathtubs full of ice, or taking dips into cold ponds.
This is a similar strategy but I want to stress something very, very important. I do not do this for long each day. And when it is cold, I only do it for as long as I can stand it. Which initially was about 10 seconds :). I do NOT push myself with this habit. The goal is simply to do it. To do it in some small amount. And to do it each day.
Go see @primalhacker to learn more. Of course I am grounding as well. I ground everywhere I go. Except for getting food poisoning in May I have not been sick at all since I started grounding in May 2017. Just saying ?. Feeling good about my foot-shaped feet too. It’s been nice to say goodbye to shoe-shaped feet. So much more strength in my body as a result. Go see @thefootcollective to learn more about what that all means.
