Why I Put My Bare Feet On The Ground

two pairs of bare feet standing on sand and ocean water

I put my bare feet on the ground every chance I can get.

Sand.

Dirt.

Grass.

Mud.

Even sidewalks count.

Because when I do this I am doing something called “grounding”.

I’m also “unshoeing” my feet. Getting them out of any footwear so that my feet can do what they were always meant to do – walk, run, and support the rest of my body. The more my feet are bare and unshoed, the better they get at handling those tasks.

Here I am with my bare feet on the ground.

What’s a Wellness Adventure?

So glad you asked :). Learn more about what I mean when I say “wellness adventure” in the Wellness Adventure Basics section.
